PRIVACY STATEMENT PURSUANT TO ART. 13 EU REG. 2016/679

Before providing us with your data, please read this privacy statement carefully to find who we are, the kind of data we process, the purposes for which we process data and the methods used, as well as learning about the rights you can exercise in connection with the processing of your personal data. We ask you to give us your consent to the processing of your data, but only if you agree with what is set out in this statement.

A) Who is the Data Controller?

We are the Data Controller, that is, Papermon Srl, with head office in Castelverde (CR) ZIP code 26022 – Via Marenghi, 52 e-mail: info@papermon.it

B) What type of data do we process, where do we collect and then process your personal data?

It is you who supply us with your data, when you complete the forms found on the site or write to us by email or post. We do not generally process data belonging to special categories, as defined in art. 9 of the GDPR (that is, data capable of revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership or data concerning a person’s health, sex life or sexual orientation), or any personal data relating to criminal convictions or offences, as referred to in art. 10 of the GDPR; should it prove necessary to process this type of data, we will ask you for your prior consent. Certain data are stored by the server because they are automatically acquired while you browse our site. These are data that identify your PC or some of your actions on the site. These data permit us to trace you only if they are cross-checked with other data. For a better understanding of the technical aspects, please read our cookie policy and privacy policy. These documents also provide further details of the methods used to collect browsing data and storage times. Your data are processed at our head office at Via Marenghi, 52 Castelverde (CR) or, with regard to only certain IT data, at the company’s data centres that manage hosting space (in Germany – Falkenstein for the domain www.papermon.it). We do not transfer your data abroad.

C) Why do we process your data?

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • to respond to requests for information you make or to follow up on those requests, for example, if you have requested information on products offered by the company or have reported problems relating to orders transmitted or to apply for a job opening at the company or other matters;
  • to comply with obligations provided for by legislation, regulations or EC law, or with directions given by supervisory authorities (for example, to comply with tax regulations or to obtain your consent to the processing of data, etc.) or to safeguard our rights, also before judicial authorities, or to put together anonymous statistics (for example, anonymous market surveys or web traffic checks in anonymous form);
  • to monitor customer satisfaction regarding the quality of products promoted and services or activities provided, to assess interaction between our users and social network platforms (Facebook, Linkedin, Google Plus, etc.…);
  • to promote our activities through newsletters, participation in trade fairs and exhibitions, meetings or sector focal points, dealings with the press, email marketing, capitalising on partnerships or other actions taken for promotional purposes, etc.

D) Are you obliged to give your consent to the processing of your data?

With regard to the processing operations referred to under point C1), if you would like a reply to your request, you must give your consent; otherwise we will be unable to satisfy your requirements or to set up any form of business relationship with you.
With regard to the processing operations referred to under point C2), your consent is not required; according to data protection legislation, the data in question may/must be processed by the Data Controller without the data subject’s consent.
With regard to the processing operations referred to under points C3) and C4), your consent is optional: if you do not wish to receive our newsletter or to interact with us on social network platforms and you do not wish to be involved in any way in campaigns promoting the Papermon Srl portal, you may choose not to give your consent.
In these situations, we are not permitted to process your data without your consent. It is understood that if your personal data were specifically provided after making a comment on one of our social network pages, this will be treated as an oversight and consent will be taken to have been given when the material requested is sent. You will nevertheless be entitled to make a request, at any time, that your data be erased with immediate effect, exercising the right referred to under point G) if you do not wish to receive any further communications from Papermon Srl.

E) How do we process your data and for how long will they be stored?

Your data are processed either manually or with the use of computerised tools. In any event and, particularly, when processing is carried out using computerised tools, we take all the security measure necessary to ensure that they are not lost, disseminated, erased, etc. We do not use profiling, nor automated decision-making. We store data for the amount of time strictly necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected.

F) Who do we share your data with?

Your data are only made known to our personnel handling your request or your purchase. Data may also be transferred, only if necessary, to our working associates or consultants (for example, banks, delivery services, computer system maintenance technicians if required in order to read or recover your request…). Anyone receiving your data is obliged, as is our company, to process them in accordance with the law. We do not disseminate your data, that is, we do not make them accessible to an indeterminate number of subjects, nor do we disclose them to others for their own purposes.

G) Your rights
We remind you that, at any time, you have the right:

  • to confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data concerning you, even if they have not yet been recorded, and to be given those data in an intelligible form;
  • to be informed of the origin of the personal data, the purposes and methods adopted, as well as the logics applied if the data are processed by electronic means;
  • to obtain a list of the subjects or categories of subject to whom data may be disclosed or to whose knowledge they may be brought, in their capacity as Data Processors or Persons in charge of processing;
  • to request that data being processed be updated or rectified and, if they are being processed in violation of the law or in the situations envisaged in art. 17 of EU Reg. 2016/679, have them erased (right to be forgotten), rendered anonymous or blocked;
  • to obtain the restriction of processing of data;
  • to request that data regarding you be completed, whenever this is in your interests;
  • to object, either wholly or partially, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data, even if they are relevant for the purpose for which they were collected;
  • to object to the processing of data for commercial or interactive commercial communication purposes and to be informed by the data controller, as soon as the data are transferred or disseminated, that you are entitled to exercise this right free of charge;
  • to confirmation of the existence or otherwise of automated decision-making, including profiling, referred to in Article 22 (1) and (4) of EU Reg. 2016/679, and if so, to obtain at least information about the logics involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing;
  • to request the portability of data that regard you to another data controller;
  • to request notification of any event that may arise that may amount to a breach of your personal data, where that event has resulted in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, subject to the terms set out in art. 34 of EU Reg. 2016/679

We remind you that, in any event, you have the right to lodge a complaint at any time with an Italian supervisory body (Italian Data Protection Authority, www.garanteprivacy.it )

H) Do we process sensitive data?

The inclusion of sensitive data is avoided in every form of contact adopted by the company.
Should a communication containing special categories of data as defined in art. 9 of the GDPR, in a CV or personal profiles, be sent to Papermon Srl by mistake, you will be deemed to have given your consent to the processing of those data solely for the purposes of communicating or transmitting documents as part of an application for the job position.
